Linda frowned, “Hmm, I’m sure Captain Jim would never send us the wrong fish. But let’s be careful today. Let’s just see how it cooks.”

As the day went on, the fish was prepared, battered, and fried just like every other day. However, when customers started digging into their fish and chips, there was an unexpected reaction.

One customer, a regular named Mrs. Davis, took a bite and raised an eyebrow. “Linda,” she called out from her table, “this doesn’t taste like cod. This fish is too rich, almost like mackerel.”

Linda walked over, a little nervous, and smiled politely. “I’m so sorry, Mrs. Davis. Let me take a look at your plate.”

Mrs. Davis pushed the plate closer to Linda. “I don’t mind a rich fish, but if I wanted mackerel, I would have ordered that.”
