“It’s just a little drizzle,” she thought, “It’ll pass soon.”
But to her surprise, the rain started falling harder and harder. The droplets turned into a steady downpour, and before she knew it, the entire outback was drenched. Kiki looked up at the sky, a little startled. “Wow, this is… more rain than I expected,” she said to herself.
With no shelter nearby, Kiki quickly hopped under the nearest tree, hoping it would keep her dry. But the rain was relentless, and soon the ground around her started to turn into mud. Her fur, usually soft and fluffy, became soggy and heavy. She tried to hop from one puddle to the next, but the muddy ground slowed her down.
